The UCF Quality Taskforce sought for ways to exemplify the hard work put forth by the Instructional Design team at the Center for Distributed Learning (CDL) in regards to their tasks, relations, and contributions related to quality. Annually awarded to one assistant, associate, or senior instructional designer (ID) for their significant impact in UCF’s Quality Initiative, the purpose of the Instructional Designer Quality Impact Award is to recognize the efforts and impact the ID has had on UCF faculty, students, and the Quality Initiative.
This award is structured as a self-nomination process with provided criteria. After the call for submissions, a review committee made up of individuals within the Division of Digital Learning (DDL) and departments outside of DDL select a winner using a rubric based on the criteria.
To recognize the great work of our instructional design team, CDL is honored to work with these individuals and hopes to highlight a small portion of the work that they do in the below spotlights.
