Description: Spring 2019 Course Redesign: Redesigned the course as an active learning class using the Realizeit adaptive learning system. Each module was built using original content and open education resources (OER). Goals: Reduce DFW rates and increase active learning frequency in class sessions
Impact: “The results have been amazing. The ‘DF’ rates are around 10% in most of my classes. Previously they were about 12-15%. The modes on test grades have gone from about 65-70% to 80-90% ranges.” – Pam Thomas
