Registration is now open for this year’s in-person event. All attendees, including presenters, are required to register. There will NOT be a virtual option for attending. The prices (after Eventbrite fees) and the links to register for next year’s event will be listed below when available.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I pay?

Non-UCF individuals must pay via credit card at the time of registration on the Eventbrite page.

UCF individuals that are paying with department or grant funds can pay via the Qualtrics form. If you choose to pay with other funds, please contact us for a non-UCF Eventbrite link.

What if I can’t attend? 

Cancellations for a full refund, minus the Eventbrite fees, are permitted until 21 days before the event (May 7, 2025). The Eventbrite fee cannot be refunded.

Will there be a live-streaming portion of the event?

No. This is an in-person event. No portion of it will be live-streamed or recorded.

Will I have access to all the presentations and workshops?

Yes. Your ticket includes access to all the interactive and poster sessions, as well as the keynote address.

Where should I stay?

Because this event takes place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at the Entrance to Universal Orlando, we highly recommend staying on site and booking with the discounted room rates. Please see our hotel information page, which also gives you information about the city of Orlando and its surrounding areas.

How do I get there? Where do I park?

We will not be providing shuttles to the hotel or to surrounding hotels. Depending on where you stay, you can walk, use a driving service, or drive. Please visit the hotel’s website for additional information on parking. Here are a few additional tips below:

1. If you are staying overnight at the hotel, your room key will let you in and out of the parking lot. There is one main parking lot accessed by turning left just after the valet/drop-off area. When you arrive on the first day, take a ticket upon entry so you can park and check in, and later exit the parking lot with your room key (or, if needed, press the HELP button to say your room number and be let out). Do not pay manually on your way out of the lot ever! Your parking fee was attached to your room bill that you paid upon check-out.
2. If you are driving in and out each day, take a ticket on your way into the parking lot. There is one main parking lot accessed by turning left just after the valet/drop-off area. Visit the valet or the bell desk before your walk to your car and request validation for our special $15 daily conference parking fee (per day). The ticket should now, upon exiting the lot with the car, only demand payment of $15 with your credit card.
3. Valet parking is available, but they only accept cash.

*Please note, the weather in Florida changes throughout the day. In July, it can still be very hot and rainy. Make sure to check the weather beforehand if you plan to walk. It is advisable to bring an umbrella.

2025 Code of Conduct

We are dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. We expect everyone to assist in creating and maintaining an inclusive and respectful atmosphere at all times by adhering to the following Code of Conduct.

1. Respect and Professionalism: All presenters and attendees are expected to conduct themselves with the highest level of respect and professionalism towards others, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, or career level.
2. Non-Discrimination: Language or imagery that is discriminatory or harassing is strictly prohibited in presentations, discussions, and all conference materials.
3. Reporting Mechanism: Should any participant have concerns or wish to report a breach of this code, they are encouraged to confidentially contact the conference organizers.

b. Ask for help from an onsite conference staff member

4. Response Protocol: The conference committee will promptly and discreetly investigate any reports of misconduct. Appropriate actions, including warnings or removal from the conference, will be taken based on the findings.
5. Commitment to Safety: Our commitment is to provide a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all conference participants and staff. Adherence to public health guidelines, especially regarding COVID-19, is mandatory. If you’re feeling unwell or have been exposed to COVID-19, please refrain from attending to ensure everyone’s safety.
