who is the teaching and learning with AI in europe conference for?

Teaching and Learning with AI in Europe is designed for university professionals, researchers, and policymakers from Europe and beyond who are interested in exploring the potential of AI in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) classrooms.

Whether you’re advancing AI in pedagogy, research, or institutional innovation, this event offers a unique opportunity to explore real-world applications and exchange ideas with colleagues across the European higher education landscape.

What can I expect at this AI Conference in Europe?

Unlike traditional academic conferences, Teaching and Learning with AI in Europe embraces an unconference spirit – where around 300 attendees don’t just listen, they shape the conversation. Expect dialogue-driven sessions, collaborative workshops, and dynamic exchanges between educators, researchers, and policymakers.

ai is disrupting higher education: what can/should you do about it?

Whether you’re a teaching faculty member, educational developer, instructional designer, instructional technologist, librarian, or administrator, the role that AI will play in the future of higher education is sure to affect you.

You know that students and faculty across the country are embracing its power to both embolden and disrupt the status quo. How you handle it as an educator can prove difficult. That’s why it’s imperative to connect with one another and have frank conversations about harnessing the power of AI to improve faculty and student success.

The main conference centers discussion around the myriad of ways AI impacts teaching and learning methods in the following themes:

  • Pedagogical Approaches to Incorporate AI in Teaching and Learning
  • Digital Learning and Online Instruction
  • Supporting Faculty
  • Academic Integrity
  • Instructional Design
  • Assessment and Evaluation Methods
  • Teaching Models
  • AI Applications in the Classroom Besides ChatGPT
  • Student Success and Retention
  • Administrative Tasks, e.g., scheduling, enrollment management
  • Student Conduct and Behavior Management
  • Ethical Considerations of AI Usage
  • Institutional Policies and Regulations
  • Global Perspectives on AI in Education
