Our hybrid work plan is evolving. What does it mean for you?
To help launch our Hybrid Work Pilot last July, the implementation team of employees from across the division examined best practices and made recommendations for how a hybrid schedule could succeed best at DDL. Their recommendations became the foundation for our experiment — an iterative process during which we’d learn a lot and make adjustments along the way. Nearly a year later, we’ve taken your input on what worked and what can be improved. And here’s how we will evolve. Phase 3 Goals: - Be intentional about our face-to-face modality
- Strengthen collaboration that leads to innovation
- Reinvigorate new employee onboarding
- Protect and nurture our culture
Starting July 1: ● We will continue to work remotely up to 3 days per week ● Team leads will work on site more than remotely ● Everyone will work remotely on the same day each week (most likely on Fridays) ● Everyone will work on site on the same day each week (most likely on Wednesdays) ● Everyone will work on site the first day of each new semester
Special events and other circumstances will require flexibility for some teams to work on site as needed. And just like during the first two phases, your feedback is highly encouraged and will be incorporated throughout Phase 3 as we continue to build the kind of workplace where we all thrive.
