In this issue, we welcome you back for spring semester and remind you of the services we offer for Special Programs support. We will share examples on how Webcourses@UCF is utilized through Special Programs.

We are committed to supporting existing Special Programs courses and will be here to guide you if you would like to start a new course.

Learn how to use the Materia tool to re-imagine your course filled with diverse and interesting experiences. Materia can bring life to content modules, practice, study activities, and even assessments. Engage students with game mechanics like: story-telling, competition, instant feedback, and instant reward systems.

Webcourses@UCF offers the Special Programs community opportunities for creating non-credit courses to support your goals. Below, see course examples for ways to utilize Webcourses@UCF.

This upcoming Canvas update is minor and improves Inbox functionality with updated coding.  There will no feature updates in February; the next scheduled production update will be March 18th.

Webcourses@UCF Support is offering two workshops to help faculty learn about migrating to New Quizzes.

• Monday, January 23, 1-2pm - Online Session
• Monday, February 23, 9-10am - In Person Session at the FMC
• Thursday, April 20, 9-10am - In Person Session at the FMC
