Dear Faculty, As we near the end of the semester, it is important to archive Panopto content that you may need for future use. Spring 2020 Panopto recordings are scheduled to be removed on Monday, May 4th, to avoid any conflicts with the start of the Summer 2020 semester. Lectures will not be recoverable once removed. Please be aware that students completing a course late (Incomplete) will NOT have access to recorded lectures unless they have been archived. If you have recordings that you would like to save for later use, you may archive them in your private folder within Panopto. For assistance with this process, please contact your college Panopto Administrator or email Douglas Nevel (douglas.nevel@ucf.edu). For anyone who is new to Panopto or would simply like a refresher, the Office of Instructional Resources (OIR) is available to provide one-on-one or group orientations prior to the start of the Summer 2020 semester. For more information, please contact Douglas Nevel at the email listed above.
Faculty teaching Panopto-enabled courses in the Summer 2020 semester should begin seeing their Panopto folders for those courses as early as Tuesday, May 5th. If you would like to begin recording content for those courses ahead of time, we recommend recording to your private folder then moving your recordings to the academic folder once they have been generated on the 5th.
