Our Return to Campus Hybrid Work Pilot empowers us to blend our established spirit of innovation and focus on student success with the lessons we’ve learned during the past year to create a new model that will propel us into the future. CE Launches UCF Charge UP!

Continuing Education has partnered with J.P. Morgan Chase Foundation and Microsoft Philanthropy to offer the Central Florida community free upskilling opportunities. The first cohort in the program, which offers a self-paced virtual curriculum, personalized coaching, and job placement, begins July 26.

CDL’s triannual Hack Day — now in its 10th year — invites creative minds to unleash their next big idea, July 12-16. Here’s how to join in:

1. Join the UCF Team Campus Hack Day to view the Event Guide
2. Meet the other hackers at the MS Teams kickoff 10 a.m., July 12
3. Brainstorm project ideas with your team or on your own
4. Pick your personal Hack Day date (with supervisor approval) and put it on your Outlook Calendar
5. Bring your big idea to life
6. Show off your creation or your epic failure during the MS Teams showcase, 10 a.m. - noon, July 16
7. Vote for your favorites from noon, July 16 - noon, July 19

Celebrate Diversity

• July 26 is Disability Independence Day marking the 31st anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act
• August 9 is International Day of the World’s Indigenous People , the United Nations’ call for a social contract supporting the 476 million indigenous peoples living in 90 countries across the globe (6.2% of our global population)
• August 26 is Women’s Equal Pay Day, marking “the day into the year on which it takes for women on average to earn what men did in 2020.”
