Fall 2021 is Here. Let’s Do This
|
|
As the new semester builds momentum, we all have received emails outlining UCF’s updated guidance: “We expect our Knights to Armor Up by getting vaccinated if you are able to do so and wearing a mask indoors in accordance with the latest CDC guidelines.” At DDL, we provide critical resources not only for our students and faculty, but also for the Central Florida community at large, so it’s more important than ever to maintain our high standards of quality, service and innovation. That means caring for ourselves and our teammates by getting vaccinated and practicing empathy in everything we do. Visit UCF Coronavirus Information to find a free vaccine and the UCF COVID FAQ for the most current information.

Phase II is Go for Launch
During the Phase II of the Hybrid Work Pilot, which continues through Dec. 31, all employees will work at least two days on site, although you may choose to work on site more than two days per week. Leadership and implementation teams will monitor performance and document results to inform a reassessment at the end of the fall semester. For more information, check the Return to Campus Guide in MS Teams.

Tell Us What You Think
One of the keys to the success of our Hybrid Work Pilot is sharing ideas. To offer your opinions about what’s working well and what has been challenging for you and your team, please respond to the anonymous survey by Aug. 31. It only takes a few minutes to complete and the information you provide is critical in planning our future.

Are You a Campus Security Authority?
UCF and other institutions that receive federal funding are required to update the campus community about crime statistics and campus security policies. The Clery Act calls for Campus Security Authorities (CSA), who, because of their involvement with students and campus activities, might have information shared with them about crimes that impact our UCF community. All UCF employees are asked to complete a short survey to help identify CSA representatives. To learn more, visit the UCF Police Department.
