To investigate avenues that create more effective online teaching and learning environments at UCF, the Pegasus Innovation Lab (iLab) will be hosting live virtual demonstrations for faculty and staff to explore the online discussion tool, Yellowdig, and prepare for a summer and fall pilot.
Built on pedagogical principles, Yellowdig offers an innovative way for students and faculty to interact and discuss course topics. By using a modern social media interface, students and instructors can take advantage of filters, hashtags, and reactions to enhance discussion. Yellowdig also provides helpful analytics to better understand community interaction and engagement.
To attend a one hour demonstration via Zoom, please register to participate on either of the following dates:
The live sessions will be recorded for future viewing and for those who are unable to attend a live session. Complete the demo registration form to request a link to the recording.
If you like what you see, we encourage you to join one of our semester-long pilots in which you’ll have the opportunity to try out Yellowdig for free, with support from the Center for Distributed Learning, in your Summer 2022 and/or Fall 2022 course(s).
Please do not hesitate to contact us at iLab@ucf.edu if you have any questions.
