Chuck D. Dziuban Award for Excellence in Online Teaching

The Chuck D. Dziuban Award for Excellence in Online Teaching submissions have been extended until next Sunday, October 8, at 11:59 p.m. If you have not already completed your submission for this award, please consider applying by the extended due date.

Award Eligibility

The Chuck D. Dziuban Award for Excellence in Online Teaching recognizes one UCF faculty member who has recently taught an exemplary online (W) course.

Each candidate:

• must be the original creator of the course content for the course on which the submission is based.
• must have a High Quality underway for the “W” course on which the submission is based.  (Note: In 2020 and beyond, a High Quality designation will be a prerequisite for award consideration.)
• must have taught at least one online (W) course within the previous three years.
• must be on a 9- or 12-month full-time appointment (tenured, tenure-earning, or non-tenure-earning faculty member; all full-time faculty are eligible).
• must not have received this same award within the previous three years.
