Join us this fall! The Center for Distributed Learning (CDL) is hosting a semester-long series of in-person faculty engagement activities in our new Research Park-based Digital Learning Center.
Whether you’ve been teaching online at UCF for 20+ years or for six months, it’s unlikely you’ve tapped all that CDL has to offer. Come find out what’s new and how we can help you take your next step in teaching excellence.
On September 7th, CDL will kick off this semester-long event with a drop-in coffee mixer during the “CDL Services Expo” between 9:00a.m.-10:00 a.m.
WEDNESDAY, Sept 7 9:00-10:00am
Download and open the .ics invitation to place this event on your calendar.
All UCF faculty with an assigned instructional designer are invited to join the CDL Leadership Team for light refreshments while learning about key services that will help ensure a successful digital learning experience for students.
Tours of the Digital Learning Center will be offered after the expo. All attendees from the teaching faculty will receive a modest swag bag of giveaways.
This expo will be just the first of many in-person events offered this fall. Our engagement season will continue for ten weeks throughout the term and include prize giveaways, hands-on activities, and one-on-one interactions.

"10 WEDNESDAYS"
In-person activities every Wednesday starting on 9/14 and ending on11/16
There will be so many opportunities to engage with CDL this fall, that it’ll be hard to keep track of them all. The CDL Passport allows you to check them off as you go. Each item on the passport has an assigned quick response (QR) code to scan and document the activity.
Prizes will be awarded to those faculty participating in most of the activities! And one grand prize drawing for an Apple iPad will be held from the pool of prize winners.
Upon completion of passport activities, participating faculty will receive a letter of appreciation documenting the "10 Wednesdays" session they attended suitable for inclusion in award/promotion packets. (Just remember to scan the QR codes located at each session.)
This fall’s engagement season proceeds for ten weeks throughout the term and will include prize giveaways, hands-on activities, interaction opportunities, and more.
