The Chuck D. Dziuban Award for Excellence in Online Teaching recognizes one UCF faculty member who has recently taught an exemplary online (W) or video (V) course. The submission period for the Fall 2021 award will open on Monday, September 27 at 8:00 a.m. and close on Sunday, October 10, at 11:59 p.m.
To be eligible for consideration, each applicant:
- Must have a High Quality designation for the “W” or “V” course on which the submission is based. The course review is facilitated by a Center for Distributed Learning Instructional Designer. If you are not sure if your course is eligible for review, please contact your Instructional Designer for assistance. Please note that “V1” courses are ineligible.
- Must be the original creator of the course content for the course on which the submission is based. (Note: Submissions should be on one single course only; Limit one submission per faculty member.)
- Must have taught at least one online (W) or video (V) course within the previous three years.
- Must hold a full-time (1.0 FTE) 9- or 12-month full-time appointment (tenured, tenure-earning, or non-tenure-earning faculty member; all full-time faculty are eligible).
- Must not have received this same award within the previous three years.
