UCF Libraries does more than deliver research materials for faculty and students.  

In fact, they can help you provide affordable instructional materials to your students for your courses.  

Since 2016, UCF faculty have saved over $4.5 million for students by using library-sourced materials.

• Library-Sourced eBooks (eTextbooks) and Materials 
• Open Educational Resources (OER through CDL) 
• Course Reserve Space for Textbook Hard Copies 

You can add to those savings by using materials from the eTextbook Portal or submitting an inquiry through the eTextbook Check/Request Form. The deadline to purchase new eBooks is March 31st.  

But before you replace your textbook with an eBook, be sure to inform your subject librarian or the textbook affordability librarian to ensure the correct license is available for your course. 

Using these free and available resources is a convenient and easy way to save students money.
