Celebrate Instructional Material Affordability at UCF!

Enjoy a cup of Foxtail coffee with fellow faculty members as we honor their efforts in making learning affordable.

UCF strives to support instructional material affordability through reduced costs to students. The Affordable Instructional Materials (AIM) Initiative focuses on efforts in the areas of First Day, Open Educational Resources, Library-Sourced Materials, and Affordability Counts. These endeavors combined provide a comprehensive (two-fold) structure to reduce course materials costs for UCF students by removing barriers around access to the educational content required to help them succeed academically, while also establishing a mechanism by which to recognize faculty who make an effort to help scale this important work. The AIM High event celebrates UCF faculty that have contributed to making learning affordable through the AIM initiative.

Register now for the AIM High event taking place on February 25, 2020 at the Live Oak Event Center from 2-4 pm. RSVP by Friday, February 14th!

By attending, you will be have access to a full program with guest speakers, awards, testimonials, and networking time to learn about ways to AIM High toward reducing and/or removing cost barriers to academic content.

Fellow UCF faculty members, department deans and chairs, and university stakeholders are also invited to share in this celebration. Join us as we honor your fellow colleagues in the hard work that is taking place at UCF to make course materials affordable for students.
