Mission

Mobile Strategy and Innovation serves as a central agent for the advancement of mobile technologies at UCF by providing direction in mobile strategy, guidelines, and practices. We promote teaching and learning, student success and engagement, and community awareness by facilitating user-centered mobile experiences and expanding access to information.

Ryan Seilhamer

Ryan Seilhamer

Assistant Director

Ryan Seilhamer has served in many roles at the University of Central Florida (UCF) since 2000, which include web development, student support, multimedia production, and integration of technology with teaching and learning. Between 2009-2017, he served as instructional designer assisting faculty in the design and development of online and blended courses. During this time he published and shared research related to emerging technologies and best practices for teaching and learning online with a research area in mobile technologies.

In 2013, Ryan became the project manager of the UCF Mobile app, the official campus app of UCF. His publications include various peer-reviewed journal articles, a book chapter, and numerous industry-leading website articles. He has over 50 conference presentations related to mobile technology, mobile design, and teaching online. Ryan currently serves as the Assistant Director of Mobile Strategy & Innovation where he oversees and coordinates mobile technology projects, applications, research, partnerships, and guidelines related to learning and campus life.
